ANDRÉE BURLAMAQUI
GENERALIST GAME DEVELOPER
ABOUT ME
A Brazilian generalist game developer that got interested in multiple game development areas when at the university. And as I searched and learned about them, aiming to fill most roles in a game pipeline, I noticed that I am a fast learner.
During that time, I developed my thesis project ("Wisp of Thy Heat") entirely solo besides the soundtrack. It was nominated as a finalist in Best Student Game at SBGames 2020 (Brazillian Simposium of Games). Also, along with my thesis, I published an article about "Good Practices for Indie and Solo Game Developers" in the magazine Acta Ludologica, on their Vol. 4.
After getting a bit of knowledge on 2D and 3D artistic areas, I decided to continue my career as a programmer.
I'm a creative problem-solver, detail-oriented, and curious game programmer that aims to constantly know more to create better.
